- Performance Classes are only in the Spring
- There is a performance fee every student who is performing in a showcase pays. It takes care of costume rental or purchase (excluding shoes). It is a per class fee.
- If a student wishes to take 2 classes in the semester, they have to pay a performance fee for each class. Performance fee varies per class. Please check with your instructor.

CLASS SESSIONS
- All classes begin and end on time. Students are expected to arrive on time and not interrupt the class flow. Students should not enter late after 10 minutes unless given instructor approval. This is to avoid injury after failing to warm-up.
- No jeans allowed. Most classes will require comfortable clothing and clean indoor-only sneakers or dance shoes. The teacher will specify what they require prior to the 1st week of class.
- No chewing gum, in class, as it may lead to choking.
- Only water is allowed in closed containers is allowed in the dance studio. No food, gum or drinks (juice, Gatorade) are allowed in the class area. Students and their parents are responsible for making sure all food and garbage are disposed of prior to leaving in the lobby area.
- There is limited viewing space in many of the studios. If you are observing class, please be courteous. Noisy visitors distract students in class. No visitors allowed in the classroom area unless approved by instructor.
- Project Pulse is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Please do not bring valuables to dancing. Label everything!
- Registration is accepted on a first come first served basis. Classes are closed once capacity is reached
- Students must inform the instructor about any past and current injuries and medical conditions
- Project Pulse dance class instructors, class sizes, and class levels and policies are subject to change without prior notice and all decisions made by Project Pulse will be final and binding
- Right of admission into the dance program is reserved by Project Pulse
CLASS LEVELS
- At this time, most classes are Intro, Beginner, Beg/Int or Intermediate. All students who are new to Project Pulse should take a Beginner level class, as Project Pulse's style is different compared to other schools in the area, and takes time getting used to. However, if you feel that you have enough training, you are welcome to try higher level class. Project Pulse reserves the right to re-assign any student improperly placed in a class. Returning students should talk to their instructors about proper placement before the first day of class, to avoid any confusion.
- Intro - Have never danced before
- Beginner - Have danced for a short period of time , usually less than 6 months
- Intermediate - Have taken at least 1 year of classes with Project Pulse, or at another School/Studio
- Once the students are observed, new classes may open to separate the levels of dancers.
- Project Pulse reserves the right to promote students from one level to another level.
CLASS CHOREOGRAPHY AND INSTRUCTION
- Students will require the written and/or verbal permission from the Project Pulse if he/she would like to use in part or whole the dance routines learned in the dance class.
- Project Pulse will not be responsible for preparing students for competitions, shows, etc unless contacted by the Project Pulse themselves.
- Entire class sessions are not allowed to be videotaped. Videotaping can be done ONLY with instructor approval and usually in the last 10 minutes of class practicing a routine.
CLASS REGISTRATION AND PAYMENTS
If a student attends a class and does not register but wants to continue the session, a late fee of $5 will be added to the regular price each week the full payment is not made.
For example, Student A attends first day of class, and forgets to register/bring their check book/cash. We will have to assess a $5 late charge starting the day after going forward for each week they are late, no excuses.
We highly recommend all folks register ahead of time and avoid the late charges.

CLASS CANCELATIONS
- Project Pulse reserves the right to cancel a particular class at their discretion.
- Classes missed will not be made up, except those cancelled by Project Pulse
CLASSES MISSED BY STUDENTS
- Fees will not be pro-rated or credited to the next quarter for any such missed classes.
- Due to any unavoidable circumstances the company may choose to replace the main instructor with a substitute instructor
- Project Pulse reserves the right to cancel a class and provide a make up class
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons (one student) and Semi-privates (2-3 students) allow for greater hands-on training with the instructor. Private instruction is arranged by appointment only. Please confirm rate with particular instructors. Rates may vary based on staff availability and particular instructor's scheduling demands. Always ask before booking a session. Remember, payments must be made prior to the private class being taught.
LIABILITY AND MEDIA RELEASE
There is a risk of injury inherent in dance activities and that personal injury or damage to property may result during participation in dance and related activities. By registering for classes, students/parents accept he/she or their child is physically able to safely participate in dance and related activities. Students/Parents agree to assume all risks associated with their or his/her child’s participation in dance instruction, rehearsal, performance, and related activities. In consideration of receiving dance instruction at Project Pulse, student/parent hereby waives, releases, and discharges all present and future claims and liabilities of any kind, whether for bodily injury, property damage, or other loss, arising out of his/her or their child’s participation in dance and related activities, including but not limited to dance instruction, rehearsals, and performances, whether conducted on or off Project Pulse studio locations. Parent also acknowledges that he/she is responsible for delivering his/her child to the studio and picking him/her up and that Project Pulse is not responsible for a child that leaves the studio.
Project Pulse reserves the right to photograph students and record class sessions, practices, and or shows for its usage in promotional and public relations activities, which may include but are not limited to, brochures, print ads, and web sites. All recordings are property of Project Pulse.
